RESIDENTS of Mella Sub-county in Tororo District have rejected a free indoor residual spraying exercise claiming that the chemical used increases the spread of bedbugs and makes men impotent.

“It only kills mosquitoes which transmit malaria. And the insecticide is sprayed on the inside walls where mosquito rests before it bites and other breeding places like swamps, forests around homes,” Dr Naisye said.
